Beakdown escalates instead. Waves grow from a handful of enemies to ten. The fast, aggressive birds rise from a third of spawns to seven in ten. Eggs hatch faster the deeper you go, and the ground changes underneath you: twelve arena layouts, each also played mirrored, so nothing repeats until wave 72. A star briefly makes you the hunter instead of the hunted, hearts and a guaranteed extra life every five waves keep long runs alive, and a mushroom that expires forces you across the map to keep your edge.
